The top of the BDO rankings next year are either going to be massively weakened, or full of players who failed to get a tour card (probably a bit of both). Yep, the BDO lads were much better than the floor qualifiers last year, but they'll surely be a lot weaker this year. Meh, performance on the day can be an issue for any player. Ironic isn't it, the first year they expanded the floor tournament, Murnan was one of the unlucky ProTour winners to miss out. He's still ended up benefiting from the rule though! Unless he wins back his tour card (which is pretty unlikely), that'll be the end of him at any TV events
Those Winmau boards will look as rough as Unicorn ones by the end of it all!
