I'm still waiting on the BDO's official response to my question about the ramifications of women players entering to play at Ally Pally, but Deta's either got her own assurances or decided to go for it anyway. Good on her. It'd be excellent to see her there.

We all seem to be waiting on an official statement - they’re probably going to wait until the entry cut off date to give one! Most of us are just doing it anyway.. I know 5 of the current top 8 in the rankings are either already entered or will be shortly

I asked the same question of the BDO on June 6th and I’m still waiting for a reply Dan...

If there are any implications you just withdraw your entry or don't bother turning up, no harm in entering before they give an answer.

Stacy Bromberg played 4 Pro Tour events in early 2011, and drew Chizzy first round twice!
