I don’t think it’s that bad for a WK/Batsman. He averages 39.37 in England which will probably help him keep his place for the matches against Sri Lanka and The West Indies.
You'd expect him to average more without but depends on the opposition.

Jonny Bairstow is one of only 11 England players to score a test century at the WACA in Perth. One of those 11 managed it twice. Without cheating, do you know who it is.
You have to be able to play the short ball very well to score big at the WACA.
