I’ve just realised as well. Penultimate game today I think. Meanwhile the best player in the world by some margin and arguably greatest player of all time has been on a skiing holiday.

There was a split in chess when Gary Kasparov created his own organisation to go against FIDE. I forgot what it was called. Similar to darts. Has anyone looked into that

PCA ( Professional chess association) The first world title was when he played and beat Englands very own Nigel Short.
