Something's certainly changed.....
No hotel packages are available this year. Hotel accommodation can be booked separately with Potters International Hotel. A courtesy bus will run to and from the Lakeside World Darts at pre-arranged times. This is subject to availability and is not guaranteed in the instance of bad weather or mechanical breakdown or other events beyond our control.
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life

They didnt do hotel packages this year either.
Anyhoo someone has spotted the dates are this years, they need to deduct a day from the dates.

That thought did cross my mind, but surely the PDC "news" today will a) have nowt to do with this, and b) not be as "big" as they are making out.

Just been told that there is a crunch meeting at Lakeside this weekend regarding the darts, and that Des actually hasnt been in contact with Lakeside yet so nobody has any idea what is going on....

It's Bob's only earner of the year I guess.
In a way it makes sense for the bdo to try and sever the ties, but at the same time a huge risk.

They dont have the money to be taking risks, one "Lakeside" held elsewhere with no TV and no sponsor and thats all the cash reserves gone.
