Hard to believe the prize pot for this entire Women's Series weekend is still almost four times less than the prize pot of a single Players Championship, and also four times smaller than that for the Las Vegas Desert Classic 15 years ago.

Lisa wins 6-3. She's £800 clear of Fallon and Deta is £750 clear. If either of them get to the last 8 in event 4 they've qualified regardless of what Fallon does.

Ashton wins event 3.
The only change now would be if Fallon wins the final event with Deta and/or Ashton going out early.

If Sherrock wins the final event, she'll be at least level with Deta, who she's on course to play in the last 8. I guess she'll probably be ahead on countback? Not sure who the biggest threat is on Ashton's side of the draw is, but you'd guess it'll be fairly plain sailing

Deta v Fallon is almost a straight shoot-out: Deta wins, she's there. Fallon wins, Deta has to wait.

Yep, to the surprise of absolutely nobody, Sherrock would be the one to benefit from that rule. Nothing against her, but I hope Deta gets the place

I'd rather Sherrock go to Worlds personally but they should 1000% do a playoff if they're on the same prize money, still seems unclear as to what's actually happening

Re: PDC Women's Series & Slam Qualifier (16-18 Oct)
The rule is on the PDC site now, it's pretty clear. If Sherrock wins she goes to the Worlds. The question is, did they actually change the rule mid-tournament (which is of course unacceptable), or was this the original rule all along?TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 5:57 pm I'd rather Sherrock go to Worlds personally but they should 1000% do a playoff if they're on the same prize money, still seems unclear as to what's actually happening

Yeah, terrible state of affairs from the PDC. Should have been set from Day 1.
