KFL interview at the start. Very much implies he wants to get a visa and move his whole family over. Good luck to him. Moving from Hong Kong to the UK when you already speak fairly good English isn't the worst position for sure. Brooks the 2nd half.

Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

Smithys number one and (definitely not) only hater.

Didn't really follow Brooks today, but I know Leung threw a number of decent games and finished off the card final very well indeed. He could be a useful addition if he is going to fi the tour.

Looks comfortable speaking English and does so near fluently, unlike Lam. Might make a difference as to his willingness to do the tour on the regular, I dunno.
Might have to cancel that Singapore trip this year!

15/16 August, only a Challenge Tour weekend there. Should be good to go! :D

I would guess he has also essentially secured his spot in the World Cup now, and won't need to qualify as a top two Hong Kong player through the Asian Tour.

Wonder if he'll play the Asian Tour as well, or will he focus on the ProTour/soft tip? Don't know much about soft tip, but on the Asian Tour he's done OK without really pulling up any trees, he might think he has a better chance of getting to the Worlds via the ProTour (though playing the ProTour could up his game which would stand him in good stead)

FWIW, the five Asian Tour weekends announced so far clash with Players Championships twice and with the European Tour the other three times. I would assume he'll play in Asia for sure if he fails to qualify for one of those ETs. Dunno about the PCs, but I guess we'll first have to see how quickly he can make the move to the UK anyway. The Asian Tour schedule is pretty frontloaded with 4 of the 7 planned weekends done by mid-May, it's possible he'll still be playing out of Hong Kong at the time.

I'd say you're high on both, 10 UK and 11 Europe possibly enough.

Barry Hearn will be absolutely shitting himself after he put all of his eggs in his basket with Sherrock
Ashton would be a decent 'back up prize', you can be sure her games at the UK Open and floor events will be televised/streamed
I can see Uncle Barry putting both an England and Japan Ladies team in the World Cup, wouldn't be against it myself.

Hope Nilsson gets a card, he is great value. Larsson not so much but good player.

Hope Heta secures his too cos he has the added bonus of being close friend with Kyle Anderson so would hopefully give him a bit of a boost seeing as he struggles so much being away from home.

I think he was spot on. Europe has players with 7 outside the qualifying spots. 2 days gone, 2 left, so it could be 13-14. Depends if a few of the top guys can win a card outright.

There is just Prins with 5 points in the current qualifying spots. So someone could sneak in with 10 but a few would miss out at least. Also in the UK it's less likely that the players at the top win cards so that could push the points needed higher. Need 11 to make sure.

86 averages not enough, so he's off to fit some kitchens.

Quite a few "big" names giving up. No Simon Stevenson or Scott Taylor in the UK. Nico Kurz, Marijanovic, Koch and Berndt all pulling out too.

Ashton playing Shaun Matthews in round one. Won no games so far, averaged 79 and 68 in his 2 losses.

+1
Was hoping Shit-Cunt Cadby could help out Kando in that respect.
