They'd do a better job than any of the main candidates.

I'm still waiting for the milkman to deliver free tickets to the Des Jacklin pre-election rally.

We are looking at the same situation in Australia. It's fucking depressing.

Lots went wrong for Labor here this year. They got overconfident after a big State win in Victoria in 2018, but they picked up very few seats in Victoria, less than they lost in other states. They had a lot of good policies but they opened themselves up to scare campaigns in seats they needed to win.
I'm actually thinking of writing something comparing that campaign to the Democrats in America, as if they repeat the same mistakes they will lose in 2020.

At least one of the cunts has a majority so the wheels can start turning.
Another hung parliament would have been an absolute farce.

That's about what I'm thinking. There's something to be said for a functioning government. Whether or not it's a good one, well, that's democracy for you. Despicable people all round for the most part and that's just the electorate.

No government is good.
Hey I loved the idea of working 25% less hours for 25% more pay but I'd have been on the dole in 12 months as the firm would have gone tits up.

Bottom line was who was considered the best of a very bad bunch. Neither Corbyn nor Johnson are fit for purpose

Re: Who are you voting for in the election
After nine years of total inept Tory rule this Labour Party puts in the worst result since 1935. This is as much a Labour disaster as a Tory triumph.
The blame lies totally at the Labour top table who are still insisting they got nothing wrong. This is a ten year result for the Tories unless Boris totally fucks it up, even then Labour has to choose a credible leader
