Believe it's 10 if it's the same as last year.

Kurz wins 10-6 with a 109 checkout! Huge achievement for the 22 year old, probably only second to beating Gando at the German Darts Masters earlier this year.

Delighted for Kurz, was harsh on him for the PDC to change the World Series Finals criteria, but he’ll have his big break after all. Looks a proper player!
As for Schindler, he still has two more chances to make Ally Pally, either by winning the Players Championship Finals, or by being one of the 2/3 winners at the PDPA event the next day

Is there any scenario in which there are 3 PDPA qualifiers? Humphries winning the Youth Championship?thegentle wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2019 5:56 pmDelighted for Kurz, was harsh on him for the PDC to change the World Series Finals criteria, but he’ll have his big break after all. Looks a proper player!

Heartening news. He's actually only 5 months younger than Hopp, according to wiki. Hopp is weird.Fiss Plaps wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2019 5:51 pm Kurz wins 10-6 with a 109 checkout! Huge achievement for the 22 year old, probably only second to beating Gando at the German Darts Masters earlier this year.

Here's the TC holders who haven't qualified yet, as provided by DanDartsPPR (excluding Cadby who wasn't confirmed as returning to the UK at the time):

Re: 2020 Greatest Show on Earth
Well that's a pretty grim list for the PDPA qualifier. I'd obviously like to see Thornton win it, I'd even say his GS performance makes him one of the favourites. Schindler is an utter jobber but still one of the best players in the field. Wouldn't mind to see Edgar, Norris or Baker perhaps, but even then they aren't that good. I fear the worst.

Not a very inspiring list. I'd like to see Thornton and Norris qualify.

Re: 2020 Greatest Show on Earth
Further point on Kurz, I notice he only did a day of Q-School this year, surely he’ll be doing the whole thing now? Would be a leading contender to win one for sure

So that's 56 at most for the PDPA qualifier.

Good news I guess, if he is back to something like his best, he'll qualify, but I don't reckon he's match-sharp enough to do that

Re: 2020 Greatest Show on Earth
agree with gentle on this one. Cadby a fucking useless twat has pissed away an opportunity to make something happen for himself in his life. Lucky for him he is young enough to have another chance or even two, but the longer he keeps making stupid choices the harder it gets to come back from the consequences of stupid decisions. Lets be honest if he didn't have darts what else does his future hold for him? Grow the fuck up and start acting like someone who understands he has a talent that can give him a living.thegentle wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2019 6:56 pmGood news I guess, if he is back to something like his best, he'll qualify, but I don't reckon he's match-sharp enough to do that
