Good god that is utterly diabolical.

How's this for a full session

Why they don't just put the last women's round 1 game on there instead of on its own on Wednesday I do not know.

Full schedule has a worthwhile change regarding the Youth and Ladies' Finals: they're now both on the Saturday, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.

2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

The line-up for the opening session is shite. Especially considering that it's usually one of the best attended sessions.

Dave Parletti is the biggest name ffs.

Aye, but Monday's evening session has Waites/Adams, Hamilton and Suzuki. Those four are probably the biggest names in the tournament. Surely at least one of them should appear on the opening day, where interest in the tournament is usually at its highest.

Unless they are desperately trying to shift tickets for the weekday sessions or something.

To many days in the week, for the BDO to find a name the public might remember

That seems like the logic they are going with but I think they'd be better served to maximise the prime sessions fully with the big games and write off the midweeks which will struggle no matter what both in terms of attending audience and tv.

What they are doing is basically putting their shit in the spotlight and putting the best they have in a dark corner.

More issues have arisen in the BDO with one player in the form of Neil Duff, who reached the latter stages at the World Masters taking to Facebook to voice his displeasure that the prize money has not been paid three weeks after the event.

Duff said on the Facebook fan group for the BDO, ‘The Real BDO Fanatics’ about the issue and ended by saying ‘What other comp does that?’.
I'll tell you what other comp does that, the World Trophy

Was discussing earlier and off the top of my head I said more than 40 easily....

How many current PDC tour card holders would be the favourite to win the BDO World's if they were dropped into the draw tomorrow?

Duzza was the only world-class player they had.

With him gone, a great number of players would breeze through the field with little bother.

It's in SuperSwede's link but here it is too. I'm sure I remember him in the past frantically advising people not to make posts about the BDO's disastrous affairs because of how bad it would look to broadcasters, potential sponsors etc. Oh well. He really went for it with this one.

Great question. The likes of Barney, Bunting, Whitlock and Clayton are down in joint 22nd highest favourites to win Ally Pally at 150/1 (WIlliam Hill). At least a couple of those would quite possibly be favourite for Fakeside.

Big Hendo and King are joint 36th favourites. Reckon they'd fancy their chances at the Indigoat in a few weeks too if they could stay alive for long enough.

Another way of looking at this - where would clear Fakeside favourite Jim Williams fit into the Ally Pally odds? Of recent Lakeside finalists at Ally Pally, Noppert is nowhere (relatively) at 200/1 and McGeeney 300/1.

I wager the winner of the BDO Worlds is not one of the 5 who played at the GSOD

I have a feeling Scott Waites will win it again
