2013 sticks out massively. 2015 unusual considering both technically lost and won in terms of different formats.
Thornton must have proper bummed him in last leg deciders in 2015. What a cow.

So yeah, predictable ending (without being quite as disappointing as last year), but an OK event all round. Standard wasn't exceptional yet again, but we had a fair few nailbiters, good enough for me. Not that I'd judge the health of the game based on this unique event, but even if MvG wins one major, it definitely doesn't mean he will win them all, the door will open for someone to win a major between now and the end of the season...

Yep, decent final. No one can accuse Chizzy of bottling that, he played decent but MVG just too good

Yeah me too, was about to post about that match the similarities are there!
Hard to believe that's a decade ago!
A final which was repeated at the Grand Prix that same year and... why I mention it... was the last time somebody retained the Grand Prix until tonight.
MVG has now retained most things at some point... apart from the Worlds.

His "I hate fat people from St Helens" gimmick is at least original.

His "darts is shit and dying" routine is shite. Randall has already perfected that gimmick.

Indeed it was. Good find.

Set scores: 3-0, 2-3, 3-2, 3-2, 3-1, 2-3, 3-2

A classic example of a casual glance at the score in sets not reflecting the margin. But loser is loser.

MH ban this fucking idiot
That's a bit harsh mate !
What I'm trying to point out is that the top guys apart from MVG arent exactly improving are they ?
And nobody seems to be coming through to any great effect .
Tickets for these events have stoped selling out for the first time in years . I'm not a BDO fan , although most of these clowns came from there anyway.
Perhaps if the prize money wasnt so high for being knocked out in the early rounds some of these fat puddings might take a look in the mirror, lay off the lard and the booze, get themselves in shape and improve their game.
If you want me to be barred for saying that ..then go ahead

Eh?

Don't they always struggle to sell tickets for the Grand Prix?
