Haha go on Bob lad. Could make a few bob here.

Announce them tickets pronto and put the willies right up the Indigoat. Shouldn't be difficult to stage something that's much more fun than the dreaded world pro.

32 legends and top PDC players. People clearly go to Lakeside just because its Lakeside. Des will be spitting feathers at this.

I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor participates. He and Potter get along well.

I already agreed with Ginge's point that many of Lakeside's regular attendees would not bother travelling to see the BDO Worlds at a new location. If this event goes ahead, I think we can safely say that will be the case.

Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.

Another January at the home of world darts, crammed with all the players you actually want to watch. Oh, maroons. Decisions.

Bring back Richard Ashdown too. Then tell Wolfie to shove fakeside and come home. And where's Barney? I'm welling up here.

DevoSteve wrote this on TSOD:
Seniors world championship? Invite ex players. Yes an exhibition in effect but market it (with pdc? ).

Bob Anderson. Keith dellar. Peter manley. Chris Mason. Wayne mardle. Rod Harrington. (Folks still in the public eye or doing exhibitions).

Maybe some old guard who don't make the o2 (not sure who is missing but ted hanky and Darrell fitto?)

Now get Taylor and RVB!
This seems possible. Manley has already been teasing a comeback, Mardle has remained active on the exbo circuit, Taylor is chummy with Potter, etc. I am not sure whether Mason would sack off his punditry job with Quest/Eurosport though.

I can imagine Des will threaten O'Shea, Hankey, and Fitton with slaps if they are invited.

This is such an intelligent idea. Really tapping into something. Potentially a big hit. Assuming it is genuine! It should be if it isn't.

Randall will be in the front row if Taylor and Lowe are confirmed.
