Maybe it's psychological, but I found it difficult to play in glasses. If he needs glasses he should wear them being a Pro!

Re: Current OoM
Gando's eye problem I believe is the fact he is in his 40's and the eye lenses harden, very common thing. So the result is your eyes don't focus as good as they use to and a simple eye glass prescription fixes this or laser surgery. Philth and John Part both seemed to have gone thru this.

I was told I needed glasses because of pressure build ups in my left eye about 10 years ago, Went through a few years of playing with my glasses on then sometimes I would and other times I wouldn't, Found in the last 3 years that if I wear them for a couple of hours before I practice or play then I can play better without them.

Here is the Order of Merit entering the World Matchplay. Peter Wright's pair of titles, plus a few 2017 events falling off the Order of Merit, sees him rise back to #5 in the world.

A slight bit confusing until you realise it's in units of £1,000 (pretty sure you wouldn't even be BDO #1 on earnings of £1,597.25).
Price looks set for the Champions League unless there's a truly ridiculous winner.

Re: Current OoM
I make it that he's in unless Wade beats Duzza and either Whitlock or White win the whole thing now. Champions League should be a belter this year, there isn't really anyone who's just falling over the line to qualify like Chizzy and Whitlock last year. Funnily enough Ando and MvG are two of the players most out of form out of that lot too, and I doubt they'll be as hungry for it as they would be one of the big majorsFiss Plaps wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 11:49 pmThat's neat.Rogg wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 11:39 pm Never noticed this before. Re: Current OoM
Gerwyn Price is now qualified for the Champions League by virtue of White's chokejob and Whitlock's capitulation. Currently in 7th but will go down to 8th if Wade beats Duzza

Re: Current OoM
Isn't the CL field set now anyway? Mensur, Whitlock & Chizz out; Smith, Price & Wade are in.
How ironic that Price qualifies the first year the tournament's held outside of Wales.
