2020 PDC Q-School (16-19 Jan)

Post by Rogg » Wed Jun 26, 2019 4:46 pm

Oh dear.

Parletti, anyone?

Well, let's see. It can't possibly be as amusing as the last one.

They can only beat the last batch if Mitchell, Warty, Wolfie and Scotty 2 Hotty turn up.

One from a while back. Nick Kenny. Laugh all you like - he'll probably be a seed at the piss palace. That must mean something.

https://dartsplanet.tv/kenny-aims-for-lakeside-return/
A Civil servant by trade, Kenny is aiming for a Lakeside return where he will be hoping to win his first game at the tournament, “I know I can get there as I’ve done it before, I know I’ve got the game to beat anyone, my wins on the PDC development tour proved that, it’s now about enjoying the game again and the results will come, which I am”

This may be Kenny’s final year with the BDO as he has his arrows towards Q School next year. He told Darts Planet Tv exclusively, “I didn’t want to go this year as I feel I have unfinished business in the BDO, plus as welsh vice-captain I’ve always dreamt of playing for my country at a world cup, I have the opportunity to do that this year in Romania, after that and Lakeside, I will try to secure a tour card”.

Someone said that Asada will be there but then Thorn said that someone else said that he won't be.

One problem with the Asian Tour cream is their snouts in soft-tip bollocks. Be nice if someone like Ilagan did have a go.

As long as they don't do a Royden Lam, and actually play some events, I'm all for it. Asada, Ilagan, Malicdem could all hold their own on the tour.

I can see Unty going. Perhaps Waites giving it another go. Erm, that about it.

Is DBG going?

Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.

Yeah good call on Unty, said he'd do it in 2020. Though I think he may have lost his momentum, not been too great lately.

And no, he's not.

It'll be really hard to get any of the international players properly involved given that they'd be risking everything on the off chance they do make coin in the PDC. I think if they are serious enough about trying to develop the next world class international player, the PDC should step in and offer sponsorship for them (especially the Asians who have shown promise of late)

From the other thread as possibly relevant here, this was pure gold. Surely as hard a cunting as any player has ever given the chair of a darts org on a public thing, apart from ifm to the twin Satans Hearn and Porter obviously. A Top 10 BDO player at that. Good old Martijn.

Kleermaker is going to get slapped silly.
‘That man is simply not suitable for his position. He doesn’t keep me satisfied. I would like to have had some clarity about the World Trophy’

‘Maybe he should have arranged this a little earlier. He can promote that tournament in Cyprus very well… As long as his wallet is involved. He is some ‘pipo’ (loosely translated: clown)’
