winning legs doesn't mean you're winning matches. gotta pile them together just right.
,,,,

got your 4 in your mind? 2 of these players are winning over 6 out of every 10 legs they shoot.
seems obvious who 2 of them are right off the bat, doesn't it?
and you're probably right
(that was not a hint and then a repeat of that hint)
,,,,

or was it?
,,,,

here comes the answer...
,,,,

1. MVG 62.9%
2. gerwyn price 60.8%
3. Glen Durrant 59.41%
4. James Wade 59.19%

,,,,

No wonder these guys are so good if they can get 90-odd averages with one dart :p

Ironically I guessed MvG, Wade, Gurney and Jamie Hughes to the original question, so I will take some partial credit for Questions 2 and 3.

I have a question for Skweezy or anyone else interested....

Nathan Aspinall will become the first player since who to debut at the Matchplay as a seed?

That's terribly interesting. Someone who came from nowhere (relatively) to hit up a Blackpool.

Is it Paul Nicholson?

Yes, although I have just realised there were actually 2 that year, and Nicho was not the one I was thinking of!

The other one was Simon Whitlock.

Nice. Whitlock by making the World Final as a qualifier and Nicho by winning the PC Finals a couple of weeks later.

peter wright wins 3 titles in 5 days!

He's farming more than just a measly purple patch,
He's friggin' cultivating acres of purple fields!
complete with tractors and silos and a, great googly-moogly, a big ol' stanky compost pile of many beaten opponents.

if he wins matchplay, his streak of winning matches goes into the record books, I thought I heard Dan Dawson say?
