He saved an event for one year in 2018 (cancelled for 2019) that barely anyone had entered but just so happened his missus had entered it.
All he seems to do is make bold promises to the Metro and go on jollies around Europe.
All jobs are easy until you have to do them, the BDO are fucked should of accepted the PDC offer and fucked off!

To be honest Barry Hearn doesn't have to do anything the BDO is imploding from the inside, nobody will take them seriously anymore!

Fanatics a right hoot. Paylyboy running around saying this cancellation had nothing to do with the BDO. So up pops Nick Kenny...

"I was personally told that this event had sponsors ready to run the event, however due to the fact that the 3 other majors have not been announced that they were reluctant to part with the money as it didn’t go towards anything if these events don’t happen."

Oh Paul! Oh Des!

Genuine question: From where? Who keeps sponsering this car crash?
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

Cash reserves from when they sold the old HQ.
Been treading water ever since...cash comes in and goes out at the same rate generally. 2 years worth of Channel 4 money spunked on vanity events.

Another free weekend for the travel club then, at least they'll be able to do their Christmas shopping unhindered.

Steve Yates
Steve Yates Too much negativity about the future of the bdo there still a hell of a lot of players who want to play in the bdo events all it needs is television money once or if that gets sorted it will bloom again every successful sport or sport organisation is heavily dependent on tv money so this must be the focus then people be falling over themselves to sponsor these events again🤷

The only way they'll be falling over themselves is in the stampede for the exit door, assuming of course that there are enough shrooms left to create a stampede.

The strange thing is there's always claims that the PDC bubble will burst, or that they have reached saturation point. They never see that it's not the PDC in that case, it's darts. All those who want to show professional darts seemingly have the chance to with the PDC. He's got deals with the BBC, ITV and Sky. No-one else matters.
