I think Deller's exbo work will have dried up once Bristow died. The two did a lot of exbo work together.

Bristow was obviously the draw.

Agree but the 'changing the rules ' line is stretching the truth a bit!

Fucking hell. They claimed Barney got in the PL because of his "appeal to fans" and that he sells tickets. Now it suddenly turns out there is "no commercial advantage"

Sorry you had to hear the news that way.
I should have thought someone might have known him.
My bad.

No worries, I rarely ever go on Facebook these days and had I have then would have seen the bad news, Had a look through a lot of posts after I seen it on here but not seen anything as to what happened.

Sad news all the same, RIP Oddjob

Aye, but that could happen with almost anyone from darts who passes away.

There will always be someone on the forum who has played them, met them at an exbo, etc.

Some big ideas for the European Tour, tentatively planning 20 events all across Europe with a £6m total prize fund, though from this it sounds more like it's being thrown out there rather than them having any concrete plans so far

I like the ideas of having one of the majors in Europe. Grand prix would be best I think, maybe in Holland.
