Re: 2019 European Tour
Don't really see the point in the associate qualifiers, and I'm sure this won't do anything to persuade the PDC to keep iSafc wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 3:54 pm Home nation

Re: 2019 European Tour
Huge chokejob from Gabriel Rollo against Portela, got it back to 5-5, yet didn't even land a single treble in 5 visits to lose the leg against the throw

Re: 2019 European Tour
That bottom section of the draw is open, big opportunity for Ross Smith to help secure his position in the Matchplay or Reyes to kick-start his season. Winner of Hughes-Durrant (probably Hughes lol) could go far as well

Re: 2019 European Tour
Lewis or Cullen having a big run would be very welcome in the bottom half. Though I have zero trust in both. Norris v Bunting a repeat of the 2014 Lakeside final.

Re: 2019 European Tour
You'd think if they get past Edhouse/Dolan/Hughes/Durrant that they could go on a run, but I have no confidence they'll even get that far. Tidy little draw for Bunting just when he needed one, should definitely beat Norris, and Noppert as seeds go is very winnable

Nice for Noppie to be a seed for once. Price withdrew (probably preparing for his DRA showdown).

Re: 2019 European Tour
Münch is the first Home Nation qualifier, now he could chuck something good, or something absolutely horrid, but after the shit the Germans have thrown up so far this season, that's a chance I'm willing to take

Re: 2019 European Tour
He gets £2k regardless, doesn't he? With a decent chance to make it £3k, I'm sure he's happy enough with thatFiss Plaps wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 6:19 pm Nice for Noppie to be a seed for once. Price withdrew (probably preparing for his DRA showdown).

Re: 2019 European Tour
Rasztovits comes through a surprisingly tough match with Van de Wal to qualify. I suspect we'll be seeing a fair bit of him this season if entries remain this low

Re: 2019 European Tour
Dear me, the associate qualifier is actually worse than the German one. What's the fucking point seriously, hard to find a single player you would care about. While the European card holders are getting 6 places only. Madness.

Normally I'd be happy to see Artut back, but his best average in his 4 matches was 80.4

Re: 2019 European Tour
Hope to fuck Portela wins, him and Rasztovits are at least acceptable at this level. Guy he's playing against now averaged below 70 to win his semi, I dare say Diogo is in much trouble.
I know it's Easter, long weekend and what not, but still, this Associates qualifiers has not had the intended impact so far this season, they really should think about scrapping it

Re: 2019 European Tour
Agreed, K would much rather the ET tour card holders play down to last 8.
These associate qualifiers look dire. Hopefully that will change next year
