Fair play to Durrant mentioning there are no Anderson's or Van Gerwens

What was it, second favourite for the title was 7/1?
At the start with William Hill, Unty was second favourite at 9/1.

The pompous Adams compared to the grounded Durrant. What a contrast. What a cunt.

This is where I give Durrant credit. He clearly knows he isn’t “the best”, and his claims at being a true world champion are dubious at best. Adams on the other hand is deluded and arrogant enough to believe that he was the only champion the times he won it.

I’d also level the same accusation at “16 time” Taylor. Some of the fields he won in during the 90s and early 00s were just as bad as what has “graced” Lakeshite this week.

Adams represents everything the BDO stands for, burying his head in the sand and pretending the PDC doesn't exist.
You have to wonder what would have happened to the world's had Eurosport not stepped in to cover it,it's dying on its arse and now players are allowed to go to q school I think the end is nigh

I'd have seriously doubted that he'd have made Q-School if it were a grindfest like last year, but this year was much more routine. If he doesn't go to Wigan, it's gonna look really really bad on him now...

Given what he said at the end there, he's surely going. He's basically told them "I've won this three times in a row in a weak field, why should I come back and defend it?"

90+ average count ends at 27. Final average higher than last year due to Waites not being as shit as McGeeney.

Glen wins it back-to-back-to-back and then pisses all over the event. A perfect end to what was really a load of total shit.

I'm not doing this again, I can tell you now.
