Lakeside isn't Lakeside without a Canadian's deep run. Cameron is the new Jeff Smith.

Excluding Adam Smith-Neale's self-inflicted injury, Robson's average is the worst of the men's draw so far.

Well done to Dean Reynolds. I can understand why he rejected his PDC tour card to gain more stage experience in the BDO system but I would recommend he doesn't stay there too long. He's good enough to compete on the biggest stage of all & I think he's nearly ready #darts #BDOdarts

Re: Piss Palace Disaster Festivities, 2019
The overall average is slightly down on last year I believe. The first round average outweighs the prelim matches on account of there being more first round games.Fiss Plaps wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 12:45 am The men have pretty much performed the same overall as last year. Essentially, there have been 1 very good performance (Warren), 7 or 8 reasonable performances (Williams, Duzza, Mitchell, McKinstry etc) and a lot of average/poor performances. It's been the same way for years now.
The real value is in the pratfalls and meltdowns.

Re: Piss Palace Disaster Festivities, 2019
Indeed it's hard to deny this first round was pretty crap. The entertainment was mostly for non darts related reasons. Arguably the women's comp had as many decent games as the men's
Hopefully it will pick up a bit in the later rounds now that the shit is being weeded out. I don't mind watching Warty or Robbo in all honesty, but both have been a low point for the event.
Durrant didn't start off particularly well, there is a chance someone will be able to stick with him for a few sets and then he might fold. You'd still be a fool to predict anyone else winning but it's not unfathomable that someone like McKinstry in the last 8 or Mitchell in the semis can beat him. Obviously against a played like McGrath you would not have seen his full potential, but there is the possibility of him already thinking about Q-School and that affecting his game
