Paddy having a puzzling collapse. High 80s averages in close matches that swing one way then the other are the devil's work, you know. He's looking forward to Lakeside instead.

Has it balls.
The evening session of day 3 of Lakeside 2018:
Dean Reynolds 3 (81.50)
Chris Harris 1 (76.62)
Darryl Fitton 3 (85.51)
Justin Thompson 2 (81.09)
Andy Baetens 3 (86.73)
Scott Baker 2 (85.75)
And these were last 32 games. Not last 64. At least 3 of the 8 players this afternoon averaged higher than 90 (Harris, Lewis, Tabern)

The lowest average so far in the tournament has been Nitin Kumar's 77.75. 7 players at Lakeside this January averaged less than that in best of 3 games, including the aforementioned Chris Harris who managed to average worse two games running.
Still don't know how that guy managed to qualify for Frimley Green. He was shite even by BDO standards.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!
Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

And that doesn't even scratch the surface. One of the most desperate things I've ever read.

Lakeside 2020 will be the unofficial Challenge tour championship as so many are going to Q school.

From TSOD:
Class act Wright at the end, gracious in defeat, throwing flights into the crowd and waving & saying thank you to them, absolutely fantastic sportsman is Snakebite. How many other players would do that, genuinely?
Oh fucking dear.

michael smith never had the balls to play lakeside
michael van gerwen was never good enough to win one single game at lakeside
ally pally is a unregulated world championship
needs women in the main draw to market the event (chuckle)
this year was moved to a smaller room to give the impression of a larger audience.
the crowd is made up of mongs in fancy dress who prefer a fight than watching the darts.
these are just some of the facts before a one sided final tomorrow. compare this to the lakeside which kicks off on the 5th on jan.featuring a respectful crowd, a official world title at stake and players of the quality of the likes of durrant, mcgeeney and mark layton, backed up by a wonderful womens championship too. mongy pally needs to be canned, was awful this year.
