Also, Bristow mentioned once how he was playing Jocky Wilson in Scotland, and Jocky kicked him very hard on the shins. Rod Harrington did this to Keith Deller at the 2002 World Championship, too, an event that was instrumental in the PDC creating the exclusion zone behind the oche.

Surprised that Barney won as many as 12 legs in the 2009 final. Not how I remember that particular killing.

If I remember correctly a number of the sets went to a deciding leg. The score doesn't reflect that

Phil Taylor 7–1 Raymond van Barneveld (3–0, 3–0, 2–3, 3–2, 3–2, 3–2, 3–1, 3–2)

You're right that 7-1 doesn't reflect his efforts against a bloke in 2009 averaging 111.

That must have been utterly destroying Raymondo. Wouldn't put it past Taylor to have been setting it up that way on purpose. Good lord.

Retweet this or something if you want to win some signed Dimitri darts. 12 days of prizes - 12 days Christmas. Do you see?

Is this link to the tweet showing as a tweet for you? Or is it just a link? Or somehow neither? TDF toying dangerously with the 2010s...

Dear fucking god! Perhaps the BDO could build bridges and invite the Ally Pally winner to Lakeside?
