maybe he can learn how to play a tune or two on piano and give a recital?
Nah.

He would start shaking his head and give up after pressing one wrong key.

That would be a great idea but I guess that Rodd Studd has all but confirmed Barney's presence in the Premier League next year.

Surprised nobody's mentioned Rob Cross, slipping down the rankings , if he has a bad world's, could be out on his arse .

Erm no, hes in the top 4 and will stay there no matter what happens over the next 4 weeks, top 4 get in by right.

He is still defending £0 (although this will be the last event he has that luxury)

Well, not strictly true. There are several events he won nothing in during the 2017 season.

Hearn says his poor recent results may not necessarily impact the selection process.

"That's a decision to take at the end of the World Championship," said Hearn. "It's probably too early to say.

"On the one hand, his performances have not been good enough to get in the Premier League, on the other hand, with his reputation and drawing power, he's still there.

"He's certainly being considered and that's a decision we always leave right until the end.

"It's a decision between us and Sky, they have two wildcard picks and I have four wildcard picks."
