To think that some players who've been around for years are still waiting for a first TV title.

Yeah, great stuff for Dimitri, highly doubtful anyone will do what he has done for years. Was a pleasure to watch he played great.

At least Chizzy is safe in the knowledge that Michael Smith has replaced him as "best player to never win a TV title".

Oh, hang on a second.

Gurney played really well all weekend, thoroughly deserved to get to the final. Which may be a step too far but you never know, MVG has often looked shaky this year.

Good stuff so far, Gurney clings on to a lead, he's not competing against the throw and long term that will cost him as he'll have a bad leg when he's throwing first, but for now he's doing fine.

I'm shocked they don't sell molded over-sized plastic superchins, with handy-dandy rubberbands to keep 'em in place, in these venues.

I agree with lump hammer mason, youth world champs needs to have the age criteria changed. The flemish deer in the headlights is 24 that isn't youth and shouldn't be youth in the PDC. At the most should be no older than 21 before the date of the final. Wouldn't this put in line with youth ages of footy and other sports?

Just about clinging on for Gurney, no good scoring 180 when you're nearly 300 behind, the MVG break of throw is coming, he's doing better than some thought he would to be fair though, credit to him for that!

They don't write 'Glen Durrant' on trophies.

Breaks for 7-6 after Gurney nearly broke for 7-5. Looking gloomy.

Yeah wasn't looking good, he's somehow winning though, totally outplayed throughout.

Wow! Or not then. 3 from the title. His game is nowhere to be seen, just dead eyed stubbornness, glorious.

Good chance for gurney now. Won't get a better chance to beat mvg in a tv final.

Not much room for error anymore if MvG wants to hold that title.
