Group stage makes it exciting, though a straight knockout is a better format probably but this is more dramatic and unique this way. Looking forward to seeing the BDO players in particular after the Masters.

Top half is really exciting because everyone is good there, bottom half is because everyone is crap. Though the final may be a procession.

I moan about it because I'm a miserable bastard but I'm quite looking forward to it as well.

Me too, would say it's my second favourite tournament. If one of the twitch streams are up I can watch Tuesday night's action back, am seeing The Prodigy in Leeds, standing too!! First time seeing them in 9 years, Slayer tomorrow too so a busy peroid for me. My favourite part of the year though, darts and snooker both kicking off fully, things can turn round quickly in the group stages so really enjoy them, the long leg format of the knockouts is a stern test. Saturday will be a long day after the Slayer gig but the darts will get me through, love afternoon darts as it's pretty rare for it to be on. Gotta fancy MVG, Anderson, Wade or Smith to do very well, Wright could be dangerous if he gets out of the group phase, so could Cross if he can play himself into some decent form he'll be tough to beat.

Looking forward to this, I'll miss most of the afternoon session terror because I'm decorating my house. But I'll watch the evening session.

Durrant has a good chance of getting far if he manages to get out of this group I reckon....

Worryingly, a few of the regulars on here are showing early symptons of Shroomitis, I hope for their sake that it doesn't develop into full blown Shroomitis Gimpnoma, god speed fellas.

The masters was probably a false dawn, but there were some very high standards on show.
Not production or marketing obviously.

Aye.

The Thorn and Randall being the worst offenders. They will be travelling across the country to watch county darts with Oche soon.

When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life
