A tour card player beats another, it happens usually. Well done Royden anyway.

watched the last game live only.
Asian legend Royden Lam played the UK's Jerry or Barry? Anderson. I didn't quite catch his first name.
It was the one that wasn't Kyle Anderson, the other one was who it was.
Anyhow, bottom line, Royden won

Gary Anderson (45.5%) 5-6 (54.5%) Royden Lam

(1) Gary Anderson v Royden Lam
Michael Smith v Xiaochen Zong
(4) Michael van Gerwen v Lihao Wen
Daryl Gurney v Lourence Ilagan
(2) Rob Cross v Chengan Liu
James Wade v Hailong Chen
(3) Peter Wright v Seigo Asada
Gerwyn Price v Yuanjun Liu
Wright definitely has the hardest tie.

Would be very surprised if any of the non-Asian players lose though.
Any luck?

Huge win for Lam. I'd completely forgotten he was the Asian Tour OoM leader.

2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Sounds good.

All I saw was the end of the Wright-Asada game, and Krusty saying he practised with one set of darts but played with another and zzzz tinkering to oblivion.

Some monster stats by Wadey again, first 9 average of 123, all suggests he's staying on it. I still say Matchplay final for him.

See the PDC got a first-time(?) headline sponsor for this. "It's a ghost town out there"

The Chinaman wins over "Scottish Grit." I'll be interested to see where the betting was on this one. Did Gary throw another match?

spoiler warning.....

watched the Royden "in like a lion, out like a" Lam vs Michael "ink neck" Smith match this morning.
I was hoping, but, alas, despite having the higher average, royden's march in the Shaghai Masters came to an end.
8-5

In terms of TV events, MVG has only won the Premier League and World Cup this year. He didn't win the Worlds, UK Open, and the 3 World Series events. Last year he didn't win UK Open, Grand Prix or Matchplay. Although he did dominate the ITV events and the Grand Slam.

If you only really watch PDC events that are on TV (like me), MVG's dominance isn't that much of an issue.
