Yes, what exactly is your point? He's also lost 3 in his career. A guy with his serve should really be winning more. He's mentally weak.Kimmy wrote:You do realise he has won a Masters event this year?Chizzyfan wrote:Hardly surprising. Isner makes all his matches drag on like this until he cracks.

Nope. The serve is not much if you lack the skill and athleticism to break your opponent.Chizzyfan wrote:Yes, what exactly is your point? He's also lost 3 in his career. Incredible standard in this game, after nearly five hours.

Re: tennis thread
Serving first might help Isner here. A couple of bad points for Anderson and that's it.

Tennis net should be higher these days.

Two break points for Anderson and Isner whacks down two aces.
Not even going to see any of Rafa and Djokovic before I go out.

This effectively being an indoors match probably favours Djokovic

Pretty straightforward for Djokovic.

Re: tennis thread
Best part about this is it keeps the 'ladies' waiting.
Hope it goes all day.

Re: tennis thread
Why isn't the ladies final scheduled to start after the World Cup game ends? It would get more viewers for sure. Also it would eliminate this situation when the players have no clue when their game starts.
