Should have the golden boot awarded anally. Says here they had 2 attempts on target in two fucking hours, one the direct free-kick.

People will pick this run apart for decades, specially if they lose to Belgium in the comedy match. Still, the least humiliating exit for 20+ years #win

It's sadly very easy to pick it apart but hey. There has been a shift.

Can't help but feel when Gareth says yeah we'll get better that yeah but the draw never will. It has been beyond freakish.

Think worth the quality of players England had should be happy as far as they got plus the draw helped them. Better teams then them went home early. Thought they played well given what they had, should have won today and disappointing once in a lifetime draw really. Hopefully they win against Belgium at least they can come out of this on a high note even tho it is a damp squip

Was he playing ?

I don't rate him, nearest thing we have had to a fully fledged carthorse since Paul Marriner :D
Hey ho, decent effort overall by the lads and gave the country something to smile about for a few weeks.

Can you remind us what the populations of Panama, Costa Rica and Honduras are, please? These being the three nations other than Mexico that pipped the mighty Americans to even qualifying for the event?

American athletes don't give a shit about "soccer." It's a playground game. They grow up and focus on more man-like sports.

Only third rate "athletes" play soccer. Are you a soccer mom driving a minivan?

In any event...England showed up in spades...probably their best performance since 1966? Focus on Belgium now, third place aint bad.

Americans don't give a shit about "soccer" and the rest of the world doesn't give a shit about every other sport the Americans play. Fair enough.

Maybe, but the US is the 800-pound gorilla on the block...sports, economic, and military wise. Everyone else follows our lead, even with Trump at the helm.

Your people did when we saved your royal subject asses from peril during WWII. The former British colony has been the Master of the universe for sometime now.

England up against a decent side and it's same old. What happened to the prolific scorer Kane? Flat track bully perhaps?
