Some horrors yes but I really like the look of the Pro Tour list. Huge leap for Nicho, gone above Dimitri. :|
Watterz flying up the main one now.

Justin Pipe has dropped out of the provisional Ally Pally seeds, and his spot in the World Championship is anything but secure.

Maybe he could have dragged Taylor down, we will never know.

Updated Ally Pally qualification table, with first round prize money added to the provisional qualifiers for the TV events for the rest of the year. Over the next couple of days I'll figure out what my projected cut-off is for the ProTour.

German qualifying playoff to be on TV this year: https://www.pdc-europe.tv/2018/07/04/da ... erfuegbar/

Was played on stage the last few years, too, but low-key in front of, I dunno, maybe 100 people and without cameras. This year they're actually promoting it as a full event at the Maritim Hotel in Düsseldorf, where they've previously done Euro Tours. (Not that they're going to sell 2000 tickets for this, of course.)

So similar to the NA Championship then.

That's a good thing.

Sounds great. That always seemed a very nice little-ish venue too.

Tahuna qualifies for Ally Pally. Quite a rigorous DPNZ qualifiying event, two groups stages an all.

He beat old Mike Day in the semis aarggh.

If Pipe drops out of the Top 32, he could play him in Rd 1...

Apparently not:

They had to drop down to 23rd place in the rankings to source the 16 participants. Craig Caldwell was also among the 7 who seemingly didn't take up their place.

Strange that so many players didn't take up the invitation. You'd think a WC qualifier would draw in all the players. Is Harris based in the UK now, that could explain his absence?

He's living in Nottingham with Kyle Anderson and Cadby from what I remember.

Also no doubt that Caldwell is aiming for the big prize of Lakeside yet again if he didn't take part in it.

There aren't any PDC tournaments for him to play though between late June and early September, and he's going to be in New Zealand for the Auckland WS event in three weeks anyway. Wouldn't have been that unexpected if he'd already been there now.

As he has zero chance to qualify through the pro tour anyway, thought he would have valued this opportunity. Would be a shame to see a player of his calibre go down the drain
