Tour Card Race:
In light green: Q-School class of 2017 who virtually keeps tour card
In dark green: class of 2018 who are virtually safe already after 1 year
In orange: players of class of 2017 who virtually wont make it
In red: former class players who will lose their tour card

Shame for Payne & RJR. Rest of the reds can fuck off.

This image Target tweeted before announcing the signing of Nathan Rafferty is rather weird:

They look like hunting trophies.
2020 World Grand Prix Lucky Dip winner!
2x 2019 Q-School Lucky Dip winner!

Both as valuable as the Lakeside piss pot!

Barry Hearn @BarryHearn
@maximiser180 Well Done. ! What a tournament and how your darts life has changed. Matchplay Grand Prix European all secure and possibly even Grand Slam ! Very pleased for you

Matthew Porter @MattPorter_PDC
Watershed moment for German darts. They have the events, they have the crowds and now they have their player. Congrats @maximiser180 on your maiden senior title!

------

Andy Scott @andy_c_scott
Don’t ever recall such a buzz backstage in the closing seconds of a Euro Tour event before. Think everyone knew what an historic moment they were a part of. Doubt any of the 3000 punters will forget it either. @PDCEurope are probably still partying! Bring on Graz!

Andy Scott @andy_c_scott
When the PDC staged the first German ProTour event in Bad Soden in 2007 @maximiser180 was just ten years old. Just over eleven years later he becomes their first senior winner. Can the new PDC Asian Tour be the launchpad for a similar talent as it develops?

Christopher Kempf @ochepedia
From December 2017 through March 2018, here is a PDC-wide ranking of the best players on three broad categories of checkouts.
Of note: Matthew Edgar's outrageous checkout % with three darts at double.

If Bazza's kind words made Hopp think he could relax a bit, Porter's words did the opposite ffs

Yes, but Max can't let his foot of the gas as he really has a shit history in the PC's and he needs to produce there better to get a stranglehold on a decent ranking.

Phillipines Open final is now set: FB Leung/Kevin Leung/Leung Kai Fan/Kai Fan Leung (take your pick) v Paul Lim in a rematch of their Ally Pally preliminary round match from last December
Burton DeWitt (@bsd987)

Meanwhile in the Philippines Open, Krzysztof Ratajski lost earlier today to Noel Malicdem—the guy who hit the 9-darter in an Asian Tour final—in the Last 16. Paul Lim is into the semi-final against Lourence Ilagan.
