Still waiting for news of when our ''summer league'' will start.

Winter league finished mid February and no announcements, or news of announcements to keep the brethren informed.

Summer League started last Friday, we won 13-8 but should have been more.

2-1 in the singles and 3-zip in the pairs for yours truly :D

And the after match feed?
When you actually feel anger over a place like this it's time to get a life

Basic but slightly better than our home venue, a plate of bread and cheese, a dish of pickled onions plus some savouries.
£2.70 a pint at the away venue so no complaints there, no fixtures this week because it's 'Good Friday'

Lost 11-10 last Friday , we bottled it on doubles so got we deserved.
Yours truly wins in the singles but lost in the pairs.

Spread was a non-event ( as usual) much like the darts.

Home game this week, we had a bye last week but our opponents for this evening got hammered 21-0 last week so we are expecting a close game

I can already report on the post match spread, it will be woeful

Results updates for JC

May 5th, a 17-4 victory on our own board
May 12th a 16-5 victory away from home

Yours truly on fire at the moment in the singles with two 3-0 wins, decent in the pairs too winning both.

As usual the spread was worse than woeful at home and distinctly average away.

Just for JC, yes, it was nice :D

I'm sensing a pattern here.

That's rather nice.
