Re: TDF v DF pool extravaganza
Whoever hosts the comp should get a fairly lengthy thread out of it.
Good posting exercise.

It seems my involvement has irked dartitis somehow.
Perhaps best if I withdraw from the competition.

Wonderful reaction over there - some are positively incredulous. Great work.

I don't see why. The idea was both sides submitted their picks, not just them.

Re: TDF v DF pool extravaganza
Exactly - I mean technically, we should be hosting the event as a few of our players are banned over there but I was magnanimous enough to suggest neutral ground. Their reaction has been priceless.Knots & crosses wrote:I don't see why. The idea was both sides submitted their picks, not just them.
Well, I'm sorry but I cannot trust a group of people who ban some for a day, some for month and even reverse bans made by their colleagues. People who set up a 'sponsorship' scheme without actually finding out if their patches would be allowed on TV. How do you trust incompetence like that?
So, we host it or it goes neutral. Simple and fair.

Even those who aren't banned are not welcome, let's be honest.

Yes, it's a 'comp'. Doesn't matter whether it is on baize, grass or in cyberspace. It needs to be run fairly and your mods cannot be trusted to do that.scooby wrote: it's a computer pool comp ya daft cunt, get a grip

Perhaps less reactionary histrionics then.
