It is well known I am certainly no fan of the Belgian Orphan, but this week he got a kicking at some Belgian football match which left him with a fucked up shoulder, and it is at times like this the PDC need to come to some sort of way of protecting players in their position in the OoM. Whether you like the poisonous cunt or not it is unfair when he is ruled out he could drop down the rankings which has the knock on effect of him missing multiple tv events, which in turn could end his career in the PDC, you only have to look at players who lost form drop away, but in Kim's case, he is not out of form but will slide down the rankings due to some enforced reason beyond his control. Even if the culprits responsible for his attack are caught, and sued, they wont make up the shortfall or compensate him.

Kim Huybrechts is 80th YTD. Average down a point and first 9 down to low 99 as well. No ETs. 67th PCs. Dropped out of top 32. 41st in Pro Tour Matchplay race. Definitely out of form. The World Cup was his only guaranteed stage play for the rest of the year and that's gone. With the loss of play he needs to come back better or he'll lose his card end of 2025.
