Big game tonight for Luton, home to Everton. They could climb out of the regulation places.

Re: Footie
Championship Final Day tomorrow
Here's what's on the line
Promotion
Ipswich only need 1 point to get promotion to the Premier League they play Huddersfield who need snookers to stay up, Should Ipswich lose then any Leeds win over Southampton will get them promoted instead.
Play-Offs
2 spots available but Norwich are very likely to get one due to their bigger goal difference over 7th Place Hull (7 goal swing) Norwich play Birmingham. West Bromwich Albion need a point at least at home to Preston, Should they lose they will have to hope that Plymouth don't lose to Hull City. Will be a nervy 90 mins. Norwich play Blues
Relegation
Rotherham have been down weeks ago. Huddersfield need a 15 goal swing against Plymouth's result so they are unlikely as they face Ipswich. Birmingham City need to beat Norwich and hope that Hull City do the business against Plymouth. Should both Blues and Plymouth win their games then Sheff Wednesday would need a point vs Sunderland and Blackburn would need a point vs Leicester. An exciting and tense last day for a number of clubs in the division.

Yep. Luton have won 1 in 18 and seem to have gone shit at the wrong time for them, Everton are playing really well and won 3 on the bounce.Wolflanternbumbag wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 10:38 am Big game tonight for Luton, home to Everton. They could climb out of the regulation places.
It's going to be tough for Luton

Re: Footie
Really hope Ipswich get over the line
Big club, good fans, nice stadium and a good group of players who are a team rather than individuals. Don't seem as scummy either as others in the Championship (despise Leicester).
Plus fuck Leeds and Southampton coming straight back

Into the last few mins of the Championship season. Dramatic finish coming at the bottom of the table.
Blackburn, Sheff Wed, Plymouth and Birmingham are all winning, incredibly. Will one choke violently?

Re: Footie
I've thought Birmingham vile since they mugged Arsenal in the league cup final. They win today but are relegated anyway. Brutal day for them + fuck em.

I like to congratulate Sheff Wed on staying up cracking club and fans.
Never in doubt a result against us. Totally and utterly embarrassing performance again but then it has been since November so no shock there.

Stranraer win on the last day but finish bottom of Scottish League 2.
Buckie Thistle and East Kilbride are sniffing about trying to take their spot in the league. Play-offs will occur.
