Thanks for explaining it. Their use of 'him' is an improvement on whoever it was last time that was referring to her as 'that person' at least.

One random person choosing to refuse to play a trans player would take some nuts. Imagine the possible shitstorm they'd be wandering into. It would need to be a collective decision surely and formally announced beforehand.
