Everyone who reads this forum knows your opinion on trans women in darts by now. You've spent many more hours posting it than you've ever spent watching women's darts.

+1, we're fighting a losing battle trying to educate. Something the bigots all have in common is the safety of their keyboards. Place is an echo chamber of transphobia.

Honestly my opinion is that Noa and others who transitioned in adulthood shouldn't be allowed to play the Women's Series.

But it's such a minor issue, I don't really care. And I don't want to align with the kind of people who want to make it an issue.

There was a time not long ago. When the majority on darts forums said they had zero interest in women's darts. It seems to have quickly reversed.

I'm sure you would, but there's no chance.

It starts with Ashton, then the PDC giving women spots in the World Championships (and Grand Slam), and then of course Sherrock. But what sealed it really was having both Fattypuff and Thinifer combination so you have two young women darts players with one or both of them throwing good darts. As long as one of them can play well at the Grand Slam or Worlds it'll keep things up. And of course, it would help if the they could meet in the Women's Matchplay and both play their A games.

Indeed he is, but Deadshot's description of events involving him is accurate.

Appreciate that. I really liked Linehan for a long time, but given he can't restrain himself he can't get work anymore and you don't see him on telly anymore. Simple as that. To like Linehan at this point would be to like this absolute husk of a human who tends to single out some of the most vulnerable people he stumbles across and go "Lol this ugly bloke is dressing up as a woman!" to his thousands of followers. It's just nastiness. He isn't engaging in a debate most of the time he's just being a dick. I judge people on how they treat societies most vulnerable and If the chips had fell a little differently Its not difficult to see him aiming his sights at the disabled.

I do remember that when I played darts socially there was a lady there that without fail every single week gave us an absolute pasting, and have always thought that the current skill gap is purely because historically in womens darts the money hasn't been there. Ergo they never played full time, had to maintain jobs and it showed in the standard. Now the PDC has adopted the womens side the prize money has gone up and is reliably available. Women can play full time (or justify dedicating more time) and the standard is climbing. There are plenty of people in the ladies game that can give Noa a beating on their day. and I wouldn't surprise if this turns out to be a purple patch for her if Sherrock can find consistent form

too long didn't read: I don't think being a man is an inherent advantage in darts. I think women have better fine control of their hands and have the possibility of being better players but until recently they couldn't afford the time that men have been able to. Taylor was a cut above the rest because he practiced like a man possessed. Easy to see
