Re: 2024 PDC Asian Tour
In even better news 3 teams will qualify for World Cup from a new Asian qualifier. Just a shame Bahraini coin is more important than you know who the best darting nations are in Asia

Re: 2024 PDC Asian Tour
No big name Filipinos who aren't already based in the UAE (I take it most if not all of the many Filipinos on the list are based there?), and few big name Japanese players (Baba and Arihara obviously have a very good excuse!). Disappointing that we might see a watered down tour again this season, but it highlights the challenges of trying to have a truly Asian tour rather than just an East Asian tour, it makes the ProTour seem like a jolly to your next door neighbour's

A Kazakh and a Palestinian! I wonder if they’re both UAE residents, would probably explain the bigger mix of nationalities in this one

Re: 2024 PDC Asian Tour
A Kazakh in the Asian Tour, must be a first as I'm not sure they've even been eligible, they have come under the EADC and Eastern European qualifiers (not that anyone turned up I don't think). The Palestinian must be a UAE resident as it's pretty hard to leave the territory...TheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 5:39 pm

Re: 2024 PDC Asian Tour
Glad to see entries filled up towards the end, looks like all the big-name Filipinos are there, the 2 best Hong Kongers at the moment, Paul Lim, Muramatsu and Mikuru Suzuki. The biggest omission has to be Goto, he's got a very important soft-tip competition at the weekend against Seigo Asada

Re: 2024 PDC Asian Tour
Lovely stuff the Asian tour is amongst the best things the PDC have introduced in recent years. Adding the 3 qualifiers for the WCOD and having a Slam place (yes I know this is the third year of that) is brilliant.thegentle wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 7:05 pm Glad to see entries filled up towards the end, looks like all the big-name Filipinos are there, the 2 best Hong Kongers at the moment, Paul Lim, Muramatsu and Mikuru Suzuki. Just need an actual World Series event in east Asia now.
