What happens to the Worlds spot if Campbell or Smith win the North American Championship?
Campbell will be on the Pro Tour 32 and as per the new rules, Smith is banned from international qualifiers
I *think* he can't qualify for the Worlds via this as he'll be in the top 64 by the time it takes place (though he qualified for it through being a tour card holder before he got into the top 64), but the PDC website also says this:
In the event of a player qualifying for the World Championship through both an affiliate Tour or Event and a position in the main Order of Merit or ProTour Order of Merit, the affiliate Tour or Event route takes precedence and the next qualified player on the appropriate Order of Merit will be invited.
Not sure if it's a case of the published PDC Order of Merit rules just not updating in light of banning top 64 players and long-time tour card holders from international qualifiers though

They can't update the rule for the Pro Tour OOM because qualifiers are sometimes outside the top 64 on the main OOM.
They can't update the precedence rules for the Main OOM since some affiliate qualifiers happen early enough that a player could be outside the top 64 and then move into it before the Worlds.
And even if they could update the rule, they don't need to, so it's more flexible to leave it in place.

They are even if they have a card only the worlds spot comes under the 3.9 rule.
Same for Perez in the Asian Championship if he wins it he will get the Slam spot but the Worlds spit will go to the Asian Tour OOM
