Starting to get pissed off with local takeaways, Its the same places sticking leaflets through the door every month that on Just eat do not list themselves as Halal or did before but then changed it taking the Halal bit off their description then you get the leaflets...Big Halal sign on the corner of the menu.

How is it these places get away with not stating they are Halal on Just Eat etc but clearly are with their advertising on shop fronts and on their menu's?

Exactly, does it really fucking matter, animal slaughter is animal slaughter. Do people think non halal meat is prepared by leading an animal to a lovely meadow and they are gently put to sleep whilst someone is holding their hoof and reading a fucking bedtime story to them?

My local Tesco had a Halal meat counter and the chicken off there is better than the "normal" stuff.

I assumed Dave was suggesting some businesses were "hiding" their halal status and he doesn't want to support them for that reason, but who knows.

The Anti-halal thing was huge on social media here a few years ago, before they all moved on Anti-trans stuff.
