---
Davies revealed that new spin-offs are being developed as part of his relaunch of Doctor Who with its 60th anniversary specials later this year.

"I thought the streaming platforms are ready, the spin-offs are ready; I always believed in spin-offs when I was there. I did Torchwood as a spin-off, The Sarah Jane Adventures as a spin-off."

I would try to get people intersted in the main show again first.
Boring Brendas number one and (almost) only fan.

Smithys number one and (definitely not) only hater.

The show is never on TV which can't be helping. It's toast as it stands. Much work ahead to restore it.

I'd say it's true that several companions have fallen in love with the Doctor in the new show. Plus the Doctor has a wife who keeps turning up.

#notmydoctor actually was a very popular hash tag when Jodie was given the keys. :)

I didn't
I don't have a problem with inclusivity but it far exceeds any societal norm now it would appear

I guess the implication is that heyy women can finally feel 'included' in the show.

The irony being that every woman on earth seems to have a giant crush on Tennant's Doctor and the show was massive back then because of him and Billie Piper.

It's almost as though women want the Doctor to be a hot young man. Oh noes.

Back in the 70s and 80s with all the attractive female companions that was clearly the aim with its tatget audience of teen boys
