Nice. I watched the follow-up series Grace & Favour recently where they're all running a manor house on a farm. It's all a bit of a delight. Just fun.The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 8:25 pm A bit random but I have been watching old episodes of Are You Being Served, they havent aged terribly tbh.

For what its worth, favourite episodes of AYBS? are the ones where Captain Peacock gets accused of having an affair with the secertary in Reading, and the one where Mrs Slocombe moves into the store and turns an empty floor into her flat. Oh and the one where she gets pissed.

Some tremendous wobbly sets too. Fawlty Towers being probably the worst for that. They all hurled themselves around that set. Battered it.The Ginge Reaper wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 8:47 pm Get to see so many of the booms on modern television sets.

Do you get to see in the actual show what chocolates she's eating? I believe not.

Was product placement a thing in the 70s?
