His last 2 sackings at Newcastle and Blackburn were very harsh imo...

Always though he was a good manager, nice guy too, remember him managing Limerick City in Ireland and he is not bad on the dartboard either.

However his style is not what I want at west ham, and suspect many wont be happy but quick promotion could also win some fans over but could also cost him his job as cannot see him being manager if they do get promoted.

Cannot see it anything other than short term

Wouldn't be a fan of the style of football his teams play. Big Sam has a massive ego, so can't see him letting the two chairmen and their poodle interfere in team selection. I think he'll instill some disipline into the team, something that seemed to be missing a lot last season.
One year I got a bike for my birthday. So I went peddling off down the road and knocked an old lady down.
'Can't you ring your bell?' She said. 'I can ring my bell,' I said 'But I can't ride my bike'
