Re: D'Artagnan's Twatter Watch
Hopefully the relationship between the BDO lot and Potter continues to break down.

Re: D'Artagnan's Twatter Watch
lol don't they have vendor booths or tables there at Lakeside? I am assuming they have to pay to have the right to display their wares. Am guessing certain people thought because it was for charity they could do whatever they wanted. The Ginge Reaper wrote:Sounds like Potter banned the sale of them! In any case, the shirt Ross had on didnt have a PCUK patch, it was part of the shirt design.Rogg wrote:ahh, saw a twatterer saying something about that yesterday, not much detail though:in the gravy wrote:Anne Grisedale

Del @DE180Y
you can no longer buy PCUK badges from Lakeshite. Because of a prick. Find me if you want one. I will have some on me @tracypcukfletch #bdo
Are they selling those bootlegged jerseys?

@shobbyefc @wilf180 BDO had the higher overall avg in the prelims compared to the PDC though. And that's factoring in the great Cadby
Don't think it's quite a like for like comparison even if the false comparison is correct.

Re: D'Artagnan's Twatter Watch
It's basically the same player pool, so it's a fair comparison. On the other hand, it could just as well mean that this year's international players from the Lakeside are at next year's Ally Pally and vice versa. Outside of a small handful of guys like Jeff Smith and David Cameron, none of these players have any attachment (sorry, loyalty) to the BDO system.
And what the averages also show...the best players from "Rest of the World" are much closer to the BDO stalwarts than they are to the PDC's tour players.

Re: D'Artagnan's Twatter Watch
Anybody who draws any comparison between the two codes is a complete utter retard IMO.
It's fucking pointless to try and make the BDO look like it's actually close to the PDC in standard. But it's also useless to make claims to support why the PDC is far superior to the BDO.
It's there for all to see.

Blast from the past:
Jeff Smith @TheSilencer170 11 Jan 2016
@gregorallan9 @BDOdarts @DeLuxeSE I've already been down that road and succeeded. Financially the BDO is a much better fit for me
2016 World Trophy - last 32
2016 World Masters - last 32
2017 Lakeside - last 16
£5750 won.
No automatic invites to two of the three now...

How times change... Throwback to the first ever Premier League night in front of 800 in Stoke, compared to now - 10,000 fans in Rotterdam!

Re: D'Artagnan's Twatter Watch
I would check, but various regional table PDFs on the BDO site appear to be corrupt... But at a guess Cameron is probably ahead at the Trophy cutoff, not sure Smith even plays the full slate of events over there. The Ginge Reaper wrote:Would he not get in to the WDT as top Canadian or is Cameron ahead of him?

Re: D'Artagnan's Twatter Watch
Jeff does not typically play the full slate. I know he didn't last year. This year he probably will have to to over come Cameron who does most of them.Zeyes wrote:I would check, but various regional table PDFs on the BDO site appear to be corrupt...
