Are there any players outside of the 64 where qualifying for this could really help save their tour card?

Well, yeah, all of them, but obviously the impact of qualifying for this is less than the impact of qualifying for the Worlds (unless you win a game or two at least)

So, I make it that Rafferty is there as a result of Brooks topping the UK DT OoM. I also make it that the only events that would knock Cullen out now are if Rydz wins one of the final 3 ProTour events (if winning 3 events trumps winning 2, I'm not 100% sure if it does), or if Aspinall, Chisnall or Ratajski win two of them

Rafferty is in indeed.
I suppose winning 3 PC's would surpass winning 2 since the same goes for winning 2 or 1 events.
And can you imagine if both Rydz and Cullen won another one...

A clash between the GSOD qualifier and the EU DT so apparently Zonneveld and Gawlas are going to do the DT (a small chance they get to the GSOD via the DT anyway, albeit RJR Jr's arms would probably have to fall off!)
