If anyone fancies going for a dig, find us the times when previous World Final pairings occurred in later years in earlier rounds. What's the earliest round it's happened in?
Has Part-Shepherd Mk II been mentioned in the last 32 of the 2010 Worlds? 2 years on, and both players had just absolutely plummeted from the lofty heights of 2007/08
Good one. Part had played great in beating Toon Greebe in the previous round, then he went home to Canada for Christmas, came back, and both he and Kirk Shepherd averaged in the 70s as Shepherd beat him 4-1.

Wait...so is it De Decker or Puha who would take Robb's spot? Kind of hope it's Puha, it would be in the spirit of things given it is a WORLD championship not a 'UK and other assorted European nations' championship
Puha is playing at the Piss Palace
He can choose of these two I think, if he is the next on the NZ rankings after Robb.
Oh...I had a quick look on google and can't find any up to date NZ rankings
Maybe this is:

https://www.dartplayers.co.nz/mens-rankings/

Puha is indeed fucked for Ally Pally then.
Proper fucked :D

The Draw is done. The Rules are clear:

3.7 If a player withdraws from a Premier Event due to personal or disciplinary reasons after the draw for the Event has been made, the next available non-qualified player from the relevant Order of Merit through which the withdrawn player qualified will be invited to participate in the Event and will take the place of the withdrawn player directly in the draw with no alteration made to seedings if applicable (or at the World Championship, the replacement player will come from a reserve list from the PDPA World Championship qualifier where final round (and then if required, each earlier round in turn) losers will be ranked in Order of Merit position as of the day of the PDPA World Championship qualifier). This does not apply to the UK Open where no replacement player shall be named.

Any replacement will come from the PDPA Qualifier reserve list

Stop mentioning Ted Hankey, it will upset Senna or something 🙂
Probably worried he’d win it 🏆

Think I will post a few of SuperSwede's finest meltdowns
SuperSwede wrote: Tue Jul 20, 2021 2:43 am I mostly agree. The system, again mostly, works and i'm playing my part in it. I'm not the type to pass by a situation I find immoral without comment or action and couldn't care less what % of people in the room/area/forum at the time agree or disagree with me. I once got a few broken ribs because I jumped in while 5 guys were kicking lumps out of a guy curled up in a ball outside a club as my 4 friends scarpered across to the other side of the road. Smart? Probably not but i'd do it again, so yeah going against the grain on a darts forum is not an issue that concerns me. I say against the grain but i'd wager even here more agree with me than not that it's disgusting and unnecessary but most for a variety of reasons choose to metaphorically shake their head in silence and move along.

(as a happy ending, pun intended wait for the last bit, I got info on 3 of the 5 guys (and families, again relevant at end) and once my ribs were healed went back to the same club once a week on the night it happened, after 6 weeks saw 2 of them there and waited to follow them out, they weren't as handy as a 2 as opposed to a 5. After a few minutes of fun I let one go because I had to show the other screenshots of his sister sucking my dick and trying to lick my jizz off her own face and to tell x that his sister y had the same treatment with same footage recorded just in case they felt like getting brave as a group again. The 2nd sister hadn't actually because she wasn't as easy as the other one but what's a little exaggeration between friends)
Another quality one
