Re: PDC Challenge/Development Tour and JDC Advanced/Foundation Tour 2021
And now, with the Worlds and tour card spots wrapped up, the only thing left to play for is spots in the World Youth Championship for which qualification goes down to 10th place (as Nentjes and Zonneveld have qualified through having a tour card). If Kurz wins the whole thing, he qualifies, if not, it's Maikel Verberk

Schmultzer-Gruellich and Kurz-Verberk in the semis, so that second one is essentially a shootout for a place in the World Youths

Schmultzer's dream debut weekend in PDC darts comes to an end in the semi-final as he loses 5-4 to Gruellich (looks like he missed a dart at the bull to win). Kurz won his semi 5-2, so it's an all-German final

Kurz finally proves to be something other than completely useless, wins the final Development Tour event of his career, and has one last stab at making the Worlds via the World Youth Championship

Final standings, RJR wins by a country mile (although perhaps he's lucky that Schmultzer couldn't play in the first 6 events as he would have pipped him had he showed the same form!)

So what would happen if Rusty-Jake goes on a blinder and wins some matches on tv and gets to top 64 at the end of the year? Can a 16 year old have a TC?

Yep, they can enter Q-School, so they can have cards. Schmultzer was 15 at the start of the year so this was the first PDC event he could enter (apart from JDC stuff, if that's even going on this year lol), but he'd be able to have a tour card next year if RJR Jr gets into the top 64 (and it's very possible as he's got 3 TV events to do it!)

Fear he would be just another of the german no shows if he did get it. No way he can be prepared to fully commit to the tour at 16.thegentle wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 7:06 pmYep, they can enter Q-School, so they can have cards. Re: PDC Challenge/Development Tour and JDC Advanced/Foundation Tour 2021
Oh yeah I don't suggest for a second that he'd actually dedicate himself fully to darts at that age lol, he'd probably do a Bradley Kirk/Dean Reynolds and turn it down. A lot has to happen before that scenario becomes reality mind you!Emulsfier wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 7:08 pmFear he would be just another of the german no shows if he did get it. Re: PDC Challenge/Development Tour and JDC Advanced/Foundation Tour 2021
Teenager Białecki in action.
Told you while ago he could be dangerous.
Getting better and better, 12 and 14 darter in 5-1 win. 88 avg.
Defeated Tytus Kanik 4-2 in L16. Obviously Steyer and Kciuk were in Hungary but still...
Winning Grand Prix already (big event, ~10 events a year in PL)
Leads in Grand Prix rankning.
This was 9th tournament (out of 10).
Białecki participated in 7 of them. THIRD win.
Steyer particpated in 6, won ONE.
Kanik participated in 5 , won zero.
Ratajski participated in 2, won ZERO. (lost one final to Białecki)
Kciuk participated in 1, won zero.
