This..

Very poor standards this year...
The fact that Jim held on for the last 6 events, winning pretty much fuck all, says it all
Jimbo averaged a shade under 90 for the whole tour, the highest of everyone. Campbell way down the list in 45th with about 85
Massively overhyped is Campbell
But what he does have is potential to be a good solid player for 2 years and hopefully push on after that.

What do they say about averages and trophies? ;)
To be fair, he was shite at Q-School, and wasn't consistent in this tour, but you can't knock winning 3 events this year, there are still decent players in the field, pretty good for Campbell's first year outside of Canada (where he's not even been playing at a high level for that long). Any time he's played on TV he's played well too

Campbell I dont think is over hyped as much as he is unproven. He is now getting his chance to prove himself. Takes time. Both he and baggish kind of in the same boat. Baggish had more international experience because he played soft tip shit. But at the end of the day both did well in fields of players in mid 80 range. Question is when they get dumped into the cauldron of better players can they raise their game.

Will give him 2 years on the tour before making a serious judgement. Baggish is about halfway thru to my verdict on him.

Have to cut Baggish some slack I think. Terrible year to be a first time TC holder nevermind one from across the pond. if he ultimately fails it's a bit of a free pass let's see you second time up situation in my eyes.

Not saying Baggish is ever gonna be top 16 or even top 32, but it's not unusual, even in normal times, for players to come from nowhere and rise up the rankings
