John Inverdale? Yikes.

Of which of the woman players will he say they were "never going to be a looker"?

John Inverdale used to present "Today at Wimbledon" for the BBC, but those comments he made about 2013 Wimbledon women's singles champion, Marion Bartoli, "not being a looker" landed him in some hot water. Inverdale was later replaced by Clare Balding on "Today at Wimbledon" with Inverdale seemingly being moved from presenting by the BBC into commentating. The irony is that Inverdale and Bartoli have worked together for years since on ITV's French Open coverage.

Inverdale did present most of the 2000 Embassy darts coverage on the BBC.

Marion Bartoli seems like such a delightful person too. Inverdale really. Yuck.

So they've made a thing about this being "televised" by the BBC, but as far as I'm aware it's all going to be online. Nothing gets in the way of Dad's Army.

The comp for this will be fun with things like the Masters people generally agree with who the most likely winners are going to be but we’re going in mostly blind to this, for example a game like Hedman v Manley I have absolutely 0 idea how it’ll go, Hedman played challenge tour this week and averaged about 68-70 but who knows how Manley is gonna turn up, should be fun
