Matt Porter pretty much said Price's "i done a load of tests at home and they were all negative, hmmmm" thing was bs (as expected) when he was asked about it on Sky Sports Darts podcast he said "obviously I can't say too much because there's a privacy issue for Gerwyn but look he done a test and consequent events proved it was the right decision" which heavily implies Price or someone in his family were feeling some effects soon after.

It has been a few months since I looked into the various testing. But the home kits were not as sensitive as other testing methods. So it is very possible the PDC was using a more sensitive test in that a lower concentration of covid shit and even non transmitable material will give a positive.

The rules are the rules from the UK govt so as a Price fan it sucks but it is what it is. I have to say Kudos to the PDC in at least make a real and decent plan to keep things up and running the wat they have. I'm actuallly surprised they haven't had a super spreader occurrence.
