Re: 2021 PDC Players Championship Tour
I get you but being tested upon arrival at MK to enter the PL bubble is effectively another "test to release" paid for by the PDC. You're negative you enter you're positive you leave to (resume) isolate.Safc wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 7:04 pmSunday 25th & Monday April 26thSuperSwede wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 7:02 pmI might be wrong but I think that's for early release into society. I think they would be allowed to leave SS, isolate at home and inside of the usual 10 day quarantine enter another elite sportsman bubble after being tested as usual. Probably moot point anyway because there's too much to lose when it's PL and all have top 4 in reach.Safc wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 6:57 pmThey can if they pay the government the early test to release but even then thsts the 3rd of MaySuperSwede wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 6:53 pmI think they can but understandably it is not worth it to them contracting the virus and missing phase two but classified as elite sportsmen ( ) they are allowed to move from one bubble (Super Series) to another bubble (PL) avoiding quarantine protocol.
Undergo "Fit To Fly" test - this will be arranged via PDC Europe at the H+ Hotel in Niedernhausen and you will be provided with a certificate, to book this you must email Gabi.Brock@pdc-europe.tv there is a small charge and PDCE will book you a time/day for the test.
Or book any Covid-19 tests required following return to the UK (please see details at Click Here)
Tuesday April 27th
Complete Passenger Locator Form via Click Here
NB: There are two questions which should be answered as follows:
Q. Are you required to self isolate? – A. Yes
Q. Testing - Are you required to complete Covid tests? A. Yes (unless you are only going to be in England for two days or less) (then enter your booking code for Day 2 & Day 8 tests as required and your Day 5 Test To Release provider if applicable).
If doing 'Test To Release' Click Here as you will need to book your test prior to your return as you will need to add this information on the form, this will allow, following a NEG Result no further quarantine but still to do a test on day 8.
The PDC will also provide you with a letter explaining your reason for travel which can be shown on arrival back into the UK, if you have not received this please contact The PDC hayley.upward@pdc.tv with your name, dob and passport No.
Wednesday April 28th
Travel back to UK. You must return directly to home. This is Day Zero of quarantine.
Thursday April 29th or Friday April 30th
Take "Day Two" test (this can be done on Day One or Day Two). Day One is the day after you return, not the day of travel.
Monday May 3rd
Can undergo "Test to Release" on Day Five with an additional private test. For further details, please see Click Here or Click Here
A list of providers for Test to Release bookings can be seen at Click Here:
Thursday May 6th
Take Day Eight test
Saturday May 8th
Day Ten - able to leave home if not done Test to Release.
Further details can be found at Click Here
Like when international footballers travelled recently outside of their club bubbles they didn't have to quarantine arriving back. They can with frequent testing move from one bubble to another as elite sportsmen. Same with PL clubs switching between their club bubble and entering then leaving CL bubble.

Jim WIlliams he is legitimately insane. Give him an open goal and he can't even be arsed. Ask him to mop up Chernobyl with a toothbrush and he's sprinting.

Still no word on anything...
We don't even know what time this is due to start or anything. You'd imagine it's still going ahead as players are travelling but what a clusterfuck.
